This product is an advanced affinity chromatography resin optimized for the efficient, one-step purification of antibodies. It consists of alkali-resistant recombinant Protein A covalently bound to robust 4% cross-linked agarose beads (~90 µm), providing a high IgG binding capacity of approximately 50 mg/mL of settled resin and tolerating pressures up to 0.3 MPa. The engineered Protein A maintains strong affinity for the Fc region of antibodies while reducing non-specific interactions, making it ideal for isolating both monoclonal and polyclonal IgGs from complex biological fluids such as serum, ascites, or culture supernatants. Designed for flexibility, it supports both batch and column purification workflows, is resistant to alkaline cleaning (0.1–0.5 M NaOH), and comes as a 20% slurry in PBS with ethanol, stable for up to five years at 2–8 °C.
